WELCOME TO THE
Wyrm Ryders Brotherhood Washington UK
Welcome to the Wyrm Ryders Brotherhood Club website. We are a motorcycle Brotherhood based in Washington Tyne and Wear UK. You can find out about open nights, parties, events and rallies. The Wyrm Ryders is one of the oldest motorcycle clubs in the Northeast of England, established in its present form over 38 years ago by Mark Simms but we can trace our history back to the 1950s. The clubs colours are black and gold. The white lion is that of the English dragon, the red cross on white is the St Gorges flag, that is the flag of England. The ouroboros or uroboros is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon eating its own tail, meaning we are never ending, we are eternal and we will always be. Wyrm Ryders is an old Pagan term, meaning "Dragon Riders".

Prospective motorcycle club members with a 500cc or over bike are always welcome. You may find that we are younger than most clubs in average age and outlook but we adhere to the to the tried and tested ethos of the bikers creed... Find Out More! Click Here

SUPPORT IN OUR COMMUNITY
Supporting 81 and NEMC
We are proud to support the 81 and we are part of the North East Motorcycle Coalition. We support events, rides and fundraising for all of our friends and clubs.

The WRB have a Coalition Officer who attends the monthly meetings at Angels Place in Sunderland. Our Coalition Officer then keeps everyone to date with what’s happening, news, events, charity and fundraisings, rides out, runs etc. It’s great to catch up with our friends in other MC and MCC's.

A good number of NEMC groups / clubs have social events – pub nights and BBQs along with club runs, charity events and ride out's.
The 81 also organise several events throughout the riding season that are always well-attended: a Poker Run, Memorial Rides and a summer BBQ. There’s usually a good band playing at Angels Place on a Friday or Saturday night too.

We always have a few from the club attending events, meets and nights out so our social life can be busy, but its good fun!

We also have our own club runs each year, family days with bouncy castles, BBQ's live music and more at our club house in Washington along with our annual Dent Invasion run plus much more!
